MacArthur got out to a double digit lead in the first half and held off every late charge from Jacksonville to win 58-55 in the CS8/Non City tournament. The MacArthur win thwarted the Crimsons chances to win the title outright and would help force a four way tie for the title which would be won by Decatur Eisenhower thanks to having the highest free throw percentage of the four teams in the tiebreaker (MacArthur, Jacksonville, Lincoln and Eisenhower).
