Spartans Look Every Bit The Part Of Defending City Champs In Opening Night Drubbing Of SHG


 

Isaiah Walton was 5-of-7 from three point range with four of those five coming in the third quarter as Southeast beat Sacred Heart Griffin 64-36 while sitting their starters the entire fourth quarter of Thursday’s City Tournament opener. Walton finished with 19 points and six rebounds and the Spartans hit on eight of 13 chances from behind the arc (62.5) percent in the lopsided win.

Southeast will play Springfield High on Friday and Lanphier on Saturday.
