Glenwood’s season got of to a slow start but the young Titans have turned things around in the last few weeks, with the latest step in their comeback being a gritty 26-22 overtime home win over Lincoln on Friday. The Titans, playing with only one senior and two juniors, hung with the Railers to force overtime and sophomore Conley Price got an and-one early in the extra frame to give the Titans the lead for good.
With the win, Glenwood has now won three of their last four in the Central State 8 moving their record to 8-10 overall and 3-5 in conference. Lincoln falls to 11-6 overall and 5-2 in the CS8, falling out of the tie for the conference lead with Lanphier and Southeast.
