Isaac Collins and the Pleasant Plains offense was clicking and the Cardinals were able to pull away from Athens in the second quarter and cruise to a 47-36 win over the Warriors to advance to the 2017 Sangamon County boys championship game on Friday night.
Collins was the only player in double figures for either team. Plains will play Williamsville in a rematch of last year’s title game while the Warriors will play for third against New Berlin in a rematch of the Waverly Tournament championship.
