The SHG defense came through early with a forced fumble that led to a field goal and then scored a 66 yard fumble recovery to give them a 10-0 lead on Prairie Ridge but the Wolves would grind down the Cyclones and go on to win the 6A title by a score of 49-17.
Tremayne Lee scored an eight yard touchdown in the second quarter to give SHG a 17-14 lead but the Wolves held the SHG offense in check the rest of the way and Prairie Ridge quarterback Samson Evans did the rest.
