Maroa-Forsyth was able to force three Deer Creek-Mackinaw turnovers, but the Trojans did not manufacture any points off of the takeaways leading to a 35-7 defeat in the 2A state championship game.

Chiefs senior running back, Jared Reese rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.

Saturday marked Maroa-Forsyth’s sixth state championship appearance in the last 11 years. A very impressive run that has seen the Trojans take home two state championships.
