Jacksonville Soccer’s Historic Season Ends with Fourth Place at State

Benet Academy scored early in the first and second halves to take whatever wind was left in the sails of the Crimson soccer team after a gut-wretching loss to Mt. Carmel in the semifinals on Friday afternoon.

Jacksonville ends their season with a fourth place finish in Class 2A soccer after a 3-0 loss to Benet Academy on Saturday afternoon. The Crimsons were 21-6 this season and made the school’s first ever trip to the state tournament.
