In the first set it looked like Mt. Olive and Jill Niehaus would have no trouble with Lutheran High. In the second set, the Crusaders finally figured out how to stop her and that was all they needed. Lutheran forced a third set and controlled it the whole way through for a three set win over Mt. Olive in the 1A Jacksonville Routt sectional championship.
Lutheran High moves on to the Elite Eight in 1A where they will play Windsor/Steward-Strasburg at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Mt. Pulaski super sectional.
