The Taylorville Tornadoes took care of the Rochester Rockets in straight sets to claim the 3A Taylorville regional championship on Thursday evening.
Taylorville wins their first regional championship since 2010 with a 25-17, 25-21 win over Rochester and will advance to the Mt. Zion sectional where they will face the Lady Braves on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
