Jack Racey scored two goals and notched an assist to help send Jacksonville to the 2A Waterloo sectional final following a 5-2 victory over Marion.
The Crimsons were without their all-time leading scorer in Steven Albers, who missed Tuesday’s match after receiving two yellow cards in Jacksonville’s win over Highland in Saturday’s regional final. In his absence, Racey had a coming out party. Nash Oldenetel and Jacob Bates also tallied scores for Jacksonville.
The Crimsons advance to take on defending 2A state champion, Waterloo on Friday night.
