The Williamsville Bullets put up an impressive 5-1 victory over their rivals from Pleasant Plains to start the 2016 Four Corners Classic on Monday afternoon.

Plains struck first in the 13th minute when Connor Novy took advantage of the Cardinals’ first and really only first half chance to give them a 1-0 lead.

Williamsville was able to tie the game two minutes later thanks to Brandon Bunger and the game stayed tied at the half.

The Bullets quickly scored four goals in the first seven minutes of the second half to put the game away. Bunger added another goal and Andrew Roberts added two while Brendon Bishop rounded things out with the final tally for Williamsville.

Plains will play Beardstown at 4 on Wednesday and Williamsville will play Taylorville directly after.
