Kai Carlberg (JR. WR/DB) – Plays on the USA junior rugby team, played DB last year, should replace lost production in the WR corps

Colton Shriver (SR. DL) – Has waited his turn, ready to break out

What type of offense can we expect to see in 2016?

Balanced spread

What type of defense can we expect to see in 2016?

4-2-5

What will your team do well?

Our back 7 on defense should be our strength. It is an athletic group with experience that we expect to run and tackle well.

What are the questions marks for this team heading into the 2016 season?

Offensively, we are light on experience but high on potential. We need to replace 3 OL, an extremely productive QB, ⅔ of our receiving production and 90% of our rushing production. We will need to grow-up quickly in a tough Sangamo.

What’s something about this team worth noting?

This is new territory for a PPHS football team. Last season marked the 1st time in school history that the football team had reached the post-season 2 consecutive years. This is the 3rd straight year for 60+ players on the team. Expectations are high within the team to continue and improve upon the success.

Head Coach Brody Walworth says:

We have had halftime leads in the post-season 2 years in a row and lost. Our focus this year is FINISH!
