Southeast High School hosted the Thomas McBride Invitational on Saturday, named after the legendary head coach who led the Spartans to three consecutive state titles from 2010-2012. Springfield placed second and Southeast finished fourth.
Some notable finishes, include Jamari Drake's first place finish in the high jump for Southeast, Ozzy Erewele broke the Springfield school record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.01. Natalie Motor finished in second place in the 3200 meter and Southeast finished second in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
